Sorry for the quiet week, I was traveling for work down to New York and Washington and was a little too busy to post. On top of that, I think I’m getting sick with a sore throat…
But it doesn’t matter because this weekend I’m packing to move back to Beijing on Monday. Actually, YJ and I will be in Tianjin through the Spring Festival and then we will be back in Beijing for the rest of the year.
So, if the site is a little quiet these next two days, my apologies. I’ll be back posting from China starting early next week.

Not a problem- I hope you feel better- small things like sore throats and flu can be the most aggravating- you know they are minor but they are annoyingly persistant. Have a good time in New York and Washington.

As you probably know, the throat problem is unlikely to get better in China, especially in Beijing. Only prodigious doses of Echinacea and hot toddies keep me going through the winter months.
I’ve been enjoying your blog for some time now. I am another long-time Beijinger. I hope you’ll drop me a line when you get here.
