We’re finally ensconced at our new site: www.granitestudio.org. I think. The old site is still up and I’ll keep it there for a couple of months so that any links still going to the old site are not dropped.
I’ve also updated all the relevant feeds and whatnot.
The main feed can be found at: http://granitestudio.org/feed/
Feedburner feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/jottingsfromthegranitestudio
For those of you behind the GFW, we also have a feed on feedsky: http://feed.feedsky.com/granitestudio
I expect that there may be some disruptions in feeds as the new changes take effect, hopefully those will be minimal.
I’ve also made some cosmetic changes to the blog as well (we switched to WordPress and so had to get a new template.) Any comments, suggestions, observations are more than welcome. If anything, it will let me know that people actually are finding the new site!
Finally, there is no way I could have done any of this without the help, patience, and expertise of Ryan McLaughlin at Dao by Design. I can’t recommend Ryan highly enough for web hosting and blog services. He absolutely saved my sanity going through the stressful process of moving two-years worth of work through cyberspace and was simply invaluable. Anybody looking for a pain-free way to get around the GFW, look no further.
Thanks for your patience and sticking with the blog. Looking forward to a great ‘08.

The site seems to be off and on with my browser, are you being blocked again?

Oliver,
Thanks for stopping by. We just moved to the new servers yesterday. My man Ryan tells me that it usually takes a few days for the other servers on the internet to get the change of address memo.
Hopefully things will smooth out by the end of the week.
Cheers,
Jeremiah

Looks good.
I’ve actually been thinking of switching to a theme like this myself, but it seems everybody else in the blogosphere beat me too it.
Anywho, nice work all around. Hope this keeps the Granite Studio open for business here on out.

Hey Jeremiah, looks like you’re getting the hang of things in WordPress. Things are looking nice.
Oh, and cheers for the plug - was happy to help.

Chris Waugh,
Thanks! Now that I finally know which of your sites is the A Side, I’ve made sure (long overdue) that you’re on the blogroll.

@Chris: It’s no surprise that you’ve seen this layout around quite a bit - Chris Pearson’s WP layouts are probably the most famous - and Cutline is the flagship - sweet clean layout, smart coding, and good options.
@Jeremiah: I think I’ve got the DNS stuff sorted out. Please, anyone, let me know if you have troubles accessing this site by regular methods (sans proxy).

Finally I don’t have to go thru Tor to read your stuff.
The new Studio looks lovely! Very classy.
Ryan helped me switch to wordpress too a while back and it’s definitely a move worth making.
Good luck in 2008!
