Jottings from the Granite Studio provides commentary, analysis, and opinion on China and Chinese history. It is written by Jeremiah Jenne, a PhD Candidate at a large public research university in Northern California. I thought of going with Churchill, “history is written by the victors,” but felt that was too trite.  Fortunately, Sir Winston once came up with something even more suitable to the occasion:

“History will be very kind to me, for I intend to write it.”
