Can I make a suggestion for your next image of the week? Check out coordinates 40°51’46.90″N 114°44’27.02″E on google earth or google maps – there’s a perfectly preserved Qing Dynasty walled garrison town sitting on a plain north-west of Zhangjiakou (it’s called 万全镇) and you can get a really good satellite image of it.
